Midwest City entrapment collision at Sooner, SE 8th injures 3

MIDWEST CITY, OK – Injuries have been reported in connection to a multi-vehicle crash that happened Wednesday at a Midwest City intersection, reports KFOR News 4.
Police and EMS responded to the intersection of South Sooner Road and Southeast 8th Street sometime before 7:20 p.m. This is just northeast of Southern Belle Christian Academy.
The investigation thus far indicates that three vehicles were involved. It’s not yet clear what cased the crash, nor do we know the manner in which the cars impacted.
Photos taken at the scene depict a white sedan with major front-end damage.
One person went to the hospital with abdominal lacerations after being trapped in their vehicle for an unspecified period of time. Two other victims also required hospitalization for injuries of unknown severity.
Motorists likely encountered delays in the area of the crash while crews assisted the victims and worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
