Driver airlifted to hospital after semi-truck crash in Gore

GORE, OK – A driver was airlifted to a hospital after a semi-truck crash in Gore on Wednesday, according to 4029TV.
The driver was traveling on Interstate 40 when they drifted off the road and crashed his truck into a wooded area.
The impact of the crash left the motorist entrapped or pinned, requiring an extrication from Sequoyah County fire crews.
Firefighters used Jaws of Life and other extrication tools to free the driver.
A medical helicopter then transported the driver to a hospital for treatment.
The driver is reportedly in stable condition.
Officials have not said what caused the driver to leave the road, nor have they reported any other vehicles.
