GOLDSBY, OK – A two-vehicle collision involving an 18-wheeler in northeast McClain County killed a 56-year-old man and two boys over the weekend, reports Fox 25.

Emergency crews responded to the northbound side of I-35 in the city of Goldsby Saturday morning after receiving notice of a fatality accident. This is about 24 miles south of Oklahoma City.

Police haven’t commented on the cause of the collision, which they say involved a 2023 Mack semi and a 1996 Honda Accord carrying four people.

The driver of the Honda, identified as Altus Barnett, succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the wreck, as did two juvenile passengers from the Honda.

Medics transported an adult female passenger from the Honda and a teen passenger to area hospitals in stable condition.

The truck driver went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released.

A full investigation is underway. Our team of news bloggers will keep apprised of the story and report back if we learn more about the circumstances of the collision.
