Child hit, injured by car on SW 25th St in south Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A child was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in south Oklahoma City’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, according to News9.
The incident took place in the area of Southwest 25th Street and South Western Avenue, northwest of Mount Saint Mary Catholic High School.
Few details have been released at this time, but Oklahoma City Police said the child pedestrian was hit by a vehicle driven by an unlicensed driver.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries. Officials said the patient is expected to recover.
