Crash on John Kilpatrick Tpke SB near NW 23rd St blocks traffic

YUKON, OK – Officials closed all southbound lanes of the turnpike in Yukon after a Tuesday morning collision, reports News 9.

The incident happened on the southbound side of the John Kilpatrick Turnpike near Northwest 23rd Street, which is just west of Route 66 Park.

Police have not shared many details about the accident. They say the crash involved at least three vehicles, and that it caused road closures and traffic delays for several hours.

Authorities have not mentioned any injuries thus far, but a full investigation is underway.
