Crash on Lake Hefner SB at NW 50th blocks traffic in NW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Crews responded to an accident Tuesday morning at a busy intersection in northwest Oklahoma City, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The accident happened sometime before 8:55 a.m. at the intersection of southbound Lake Hefner Parkway and Northwest 50th Street, which is just south of INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center.
Police have not yet shared any details regarding the crash except to say that it caused delays as far back as Northwest Expressway.
It’s not clear how many vehicles were involved in the accident, and there’s no word yet regarding injuries.
Crews worked quickly to clear the scene and re-open all roadways within the hour.
The investigation is ongoing.
