Crews respond to crash on OK-33 near 3290 Rd in Payne Co.

PAYNE CO., OK – Officials urged drivers to seek alternate routes Friday morning after an accident along the highway in south-central Payne County, reports News 9.

The crash occurred in the morning on OK-33 near 3290 Road, which is west of Perkins and north of Goodnight.

Police haven’t yet provided any details, so it’s unclear how many vehicles were involved or what might have caused the accident.

Authorities closed OK-33 in both directions in the vicinity of the crash site while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
