Injuries reported in crash at Lake Hefner Pkwy and W Britton Rd

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency crews responded to a major accident with injuries on Wednesday afternoon at a busy intersection in northwest Oklahoma City, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The crash happened sometime before 2:50 p.m. on the northbound side of Lake Hefner Parkway at West Britton Road, which is just west of PCAA Fields and north of Lion’s Children’s Playground.
It’s not yet clear what happened or how many people were hurt in the accident.
Drivers likely experienced delays along Lake Hefner Parkway while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
