Injuries reported in crash at NW 50th and Quanah Parker Trailway

LAWTON, OK – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a crash with injuries earlier this month along a busy roadway in northwest Lawton, reports KSWO 7.
The wreck occurred late in the morning on Friday, April 4th, at the intersection of Northwest 50th Street and Quanah Parker Trailway, which is southwest of Harold Park and southeast of Wayne Gilley Park.
Authorities haven’t yet disclosed the cause or circumstances of the accident. Photos taken at the scene indicate that a blue sedan may have been involved and that airbags in the vehicle were deployed.
Medics transported at least one person via ground ambulance to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
Drivers likely faced delays in the area of the collision while crews assisted the victim(s) and worked to clear the scene.
