Man killed in wrong-way crash on OK-99 south of Hominy

OSAGE CO., OK – A 79-year-old man died late Monday morning following a head-on collision along the highway in south-central Osage County, reports News on 6.
The incident happened around 11:28 a.m. just south of County Road 5238 on OK-99, which is on the southern outskirts of Hominy.
Police say that a wrong-way driver collided with the victim’s vehicle along the highway, and he died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities identified the victim as Wayne Brown.
The wrong-way driver went to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
A full investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
