Medics called to multi-car wreck at NW Oklahoma City shopping center

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A multi-vehicle accident was reported Wednesday afternoon near Rockwell Plaza Shopping Center in northwest Oklahoma City, according to NewsOn6.
The crash happened in the area of Northwest Expressway and North Rockwell Avenue, shortly after 3:30 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the wreck, but first responders were at the scene treating multiple patients.
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the number of people hurt or the extent of their injuries.
The collision left only one southbound lane of North Rockwell Avenue open during the response, but all northbound lanes remained open.
An investigation into the cause of the crash was underway.
