NE Texas Co. crash involving minivan, pickup kills 2, injures 5

TYRONE, OK – Police reported two fatalities and five injuries caused by a two-vehicle crash along the highway in northeast Texas County on Monday.
According to abc 7 News, the incident occurred around 10:20 a.m. at US-64 and Mile 53, which is on the far west side of Tyrone.
The collision involved a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica minivan carrying six people and a 2015 Chevy Silverado carrying one person.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the accident, but they say the driver and one passenger from the minivan died from injuries sustained in the accident. Authorities identified them as 55-year-old Francisco Vicente and 47-year-old Maria Lux Pu.
Medics transported three minors from the minivan and one adult to a trauma center in Kansas. The driver of the Chevy was ultimately taken to the same trauma center.
A full investigation is underway.
