Passenger vehicle and ambulance collide in OKC, hurting 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person went to the hospital on Wednesday after a vehicle struck an ambulance at a busy intersection in Oklahoma City.

According to News 9, the incident happened just after 1 a.m. near the intersection of Northwest 10th Street and North Classen Boulevard, which is just west of SSM Health St Anthony Hospital.

Authorities say that the ambulance overturned following the collision. The driver of the passenger vehicle sustained injuries of unknown severity in the crash.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
