Police chase ends in fatal crash at I-40 and S Agnew Ave

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person died, and another person was arrested Sunday when a vehicle evaded police and crashed along the interstate in Oklahoma City.
According to News on 6, the incident happened sometime in the evening on I-40 at South Agnew Avenue, which is just north of River Park.
Authorities say that Mustang Police were pursuing the vehicle in connection to an armed robbery on Alamo Way in Mustang, which is about 18 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.
A suspect vehicle with two occupants overturned along the interstate, ejecting one person. The other person in the vehicle died from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities have not released their identity.
Police took the survivor into custody. It’s unclear if they suffered injuries in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
