Semi overturns, catches fire on I-35 in NE Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Minor injuries were reported Friday morning after a rollover semi-truck crash on Interstate 35 in northeast Oklahoma City, reports KOCO.
The accident happened on the southbound lanes at Exit 131 to Northeast 36th Street, near Lincoln Park Golf Course.
According to officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a semi-truck overturned during a crash in the southbound interstate for reasons still being investigated. Moments later, the semi burst into flames.
It was unclear whether any other vehicles were involved, but at least one person suffered minor injuries.
The crash and emergency response caused part of the highway to close in the immediate aftermath, but one traffic lane was later reopened.
