OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A rollover crash involving a semi-truck Friday afternoon closed all westbound lanes of Interstate 44 near northwest Oklahoma City, reports News9.
The accident took place on the westbound interstate near Exit 124 to North May Avenue, shortly after 4:30 p.m.
It was unclear what led up to the wreck, but the semi rolled onto one side, causing the contents of its trailer to spill onto the roadway.
Oklahoma Police officers and Fire Department crews responded to the scene.
No one was reported hurt, but all westbound lanes in the area were blocked in the aftermath.
Motorists were asked to detour around the site. A recommended route included taking Northwest 39th Expressway to Portland Avenue to access I-44 eastbound, and then exiting southbound.
