Single-vehicle motorcycle crash on I-40 WB near I-235 kills 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person died Monday afternoon in a solo motorcycle accident along the interstate in central Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on the westbound side of I-40 near I-235. This is just north of the Oklahoma River and the First Americans Museum.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about what caused the motorcycle to crash. Additionally, it’s unclear if the bike was carrying more than one person at the time of the crash.
Authorities haven’t disclosed the name of the deceased.
Officials closed one lane of I-40 westbound while emergency crews worked at the scene. Drivers likely experienced delays during this time.
