Solo crash on N 569 Rd near Tahlequah ejects, kills 15-year-old girl

CHEROKEE CO., OK – A teen girl died Saturday in a single-vehicle crash along a rural roadway in central Cherokee County, reports News on 6.
The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. just north of Tahlequah on North 569 Road. This is about 70 miles east of Tulsa.
Police say a pickup truck carrying six people crashed and rolled when the driver lost control at a curve in the roadway.
The accident ejected a 15-year-old unrestrained passenger, who died after transport to a local hospital.
It’s unclear if anyone else was hurt in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
