Wrong-way crash along Muskogee Tpke near Tullahassee kills 1

WAGONER CO., OK – A 60-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries Friday in a major collision along the turnpike in southeast Wagoner County, reports Fox 23 News.

The accident occurred around 3 a.m. near mile marker 23 on the Muskogee Turnpike. This is around 45 miles southeast of Tulsa.

Police say the victim was headed eastbound when a wrong-way driver struck her vehicle head-on, killing her at the scene. Authorities identified the deceased as Jerri Glass.

Medics transported the wrong-way driver to an area hospital with non-critical injuries to the leg.

There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the collision, but a full investigation is underway.
