OKLAHOMA COUNTY, OK — Two 17-year-olds were hospitalized Thursday night after a single-vehicle rollover collision in southeast Choctaw, according to News9.
The accident happened on a span of Southeast 29th Street between Indian Meridian Road and South Triple X Road.
Few details have been provided, but Choctaw Police said a vehicle traveled off the roadway and crashed into multiple trees before flipping onto its roof.
Crews had to use the Jaws of Life extrication tools to remove both teens, who were pinned and trapped in the wreckage.
Both the victims were transported to a local hospital, where, as of this writing, the passenger remains in the ICU with undisclosed injuries. Officials said the driver, who suffered a few broken bones, has since been released.
No further information has been shared, but officials said wet weather conditions appear to have contributed to the wreck.
