Crash at OK-18 and East Fairlawn Road kills 1 in Cushing

CUSHING, OK – One person died on Tuesday after a major collision along the highway in southeast Payne County, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened at the intersection of OK-18 and Fairlawn Road, which is just north of New Zion Cemetery.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the crash beyond confirming the fatality, and they haven’t released the name of the deceased.
Officials closed the roadway in the vicinity of the accident while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
