Injuries reported in pedestrian crash at SW 29th and Agnew in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Police are investigating a pedestrian crash with injuries that happened Tuesday in the Jackson neighborhood of Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened early in the morning in the area of Southwest 29th Street and Agnew Avenue, which is east of I-44 and south of I-40.
Authorities have confirmed that a vehicle struck a pedestrian near the intersection and that medics transported the victim to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
It’s not yet clear if the pedestrian was walking in a designated crosswalk at the time of the accident.
Officials say that the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene to render aid and speak with police.
