Man killed in solo crash on W 181st St in Mounds

MOUNDS, OK – One person died Tuesday from injuries sustained in a solo crash on Monday along a roadway in eastern Creek County.
According to News on 6, the incident happened late Monday night on the eastbound side of West 181st Street South between I-75 and South 49th West Avenue.
Police say the victim struck a culvert after losing control of his vehicle and leaving the roadway. The vehicle then overturned, trapping the driver.
Medics extricated the victim from the wreckage and took him to a local hospital, where he died the following afternoon.
Authorities identified the victim as Jose Ricardo of Tulsa.
