Midwest City PD investigates fatal crash at SE 15th and Westminster

MIDWEST CITY, OK – One person died Monday from injuries sustained in a wrong-way crash at a busy intersection in Midwest City, reports KFOR News 4.

The accident happened sometime before 8 p.m. in the area of Southeast 15th Street and South Westminster Road, which is just south of Optimist Park on the east side of the city.

Thus far, police haven’t disclosed the number of vehicles involved in the collision, nor is it clear what caused the wreck.

Medics transported one person to an area hospital, where they died not longer after. Authorities have not yet disclosed the victim’s identity.

One other person involved in the crash sustained minor injuries. It’s unclear if they required hospitalization.
