OHP responds to semi-truck wreck on I-44 near NW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A semi-truck collided with a guardrail Monday morning on Interstate 44 near northwest Milwaukee’s Mayfair West neighborhood, reports News9.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene on the westbound lanes near Exit 123B to Lake Hefner Parkway. The crash was first reported shortly before 6:50 a.m.
Few details have been provided at this time, but officials said the guardrail kept the impacted semi from veering completely off the roadway.
No injuries were reported, confirmed OHP.
It remains unclear at this time what caused the accident.
